I look around

Smiling face smiling face smiling face
(oh my smile is off, turn it on!)
All eyes on me
expecting…

What?
(just keep smiling)

Overwhelmed by the underwhelm
this isn’t like the books say like the movies show

And no best friend character a someone to ask
“Do you like surprise parties?”

and listen to me think
to honestly answer
“I don’t know. Please don’t have one.”
