Once I understood that, I could fix it. When I started translating those money systems into plain, human language, clients could relax. They could see what was happening. They could make decisions.
And that lesson applies beyond bookkeeping.
When you work with neurodivergent clients, it’s not about simplifying things or lowering expectations; it’s about making them make sense in a way that actually works for that person.
